Week 22 Plant Paradox Update

Posted on 02/07/202602/10/2026 by Jeri Denniston

Lab results were great!

This is just a short update after meeting with my doctor. All my markers look good. He’s happy with my blood pressure readings; my fasting glucose was 84, no surprise there since I rarely ingest sugar.

But the best news was that my total cholesterol was down by a significant amount. The prior reading in July 2025 for total cholesterol was 260. This result was 238. It’s not where it needs to be, but I’m convinced with diet and exercise, I can bring it down into the normal range.

I’ve only been on the Plant Paradox program for 5 1/2 months. I can’t expect overnight change, much as I would like. Dr. Gundry points out in his book that many of his patients who have stuck with the eating program for at least a year, have cured themselves of all kinds of disease, including high cholesterol.

So that’s my goal. Eventually, I would like to be off the blood pressure meds, too, but if that doesn’t happen, then I’m content with a strong, healthy body at a healthy weight, free of all other illness, aches, and pains.
